In other news: Amie is in a walk-a-thon today (for Make-A-Wish -- they're sending a local 4-year-old to Disney) and has been excited for this day for weeks. If you want to donate, ask me for the link and I'll send it to you, since this is a public post and all.My red hair has died out and I need to rectify this.Thanks to Jason, Amie, and Josh, the garden is all weeded and prepped for May planting. Problem is, the earth thinks it's July. I wandered a nursery on Saturday and all the June blooms were mostly spent. Crazy global warming! I'm still going to plant some heat-friendly annuals and see how they grow. Such a strange year for the climate.
Heaven help me, I downloaded the Appalachian Trail map again over the weekend. Now stop that. Are you really going to scramble up Katahdin with a busted arm? How about sleeping on rocks when even a night on an air mattress makes you cranky? Shut the front door.
